More than 1,000 Liberty University employees congregated in the LaHaye Recreation & Fitness Center, and the connecting Schilling Center and Tilley Student Center, for the annual President’s Christmas Reception on Friday, Dec. 13, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
As Christmas music played in the background, faculty and staff enjoyed hearty appetizers, fresh fruit and vegetables, holiday treats, and the opportunity to fellowship with one another as well as with President Jerry Falwell, Jr. and his wife, Becki.
A large Christmas tree, glistening with lights and decorations, provided a festive backdrop for guests to get their photograph taken with friends and colleagues.
Though students are now officially on Winter Break, there are still numerous activities on campus for guests, prospective students, and the Lynchburg, Va., community.
