A screening of Billy: The Early Years, starring two Liberty University students, will be held Sunday, Aug. 3, at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary at Thomas Road Baptist Church.
The film, directed by Robby Benson, follows the life of evangelist Billy Graham, starting in his teenage years.
Cast in major roles as brothers T.W. and Grady Wilson, LU students Cody Carwile and Josh DeVries portray two of Graham’s close friends and associates.
Nearly 50 other Liberty University theatre students were cast as extras and traveled to Tennessee in April for a day of filming.
Nationwide release is slated for Oct. 8.
