Illusionist to perform at Winterfest 2008

Illusionists possess an uncanny ability to captivate an audience, performing tricks and stunts rarely attempted by those in attendance. What makes illusionist Brock Gill different from many of his contemporaries? Through his mind-blowing feats, he shares a life-changing message that can transform even the hardest of hearts.

At Winterfest 2008, Liberty University’s ever-popular music festival and winter retreat, Gill joins a cast of top Christian artists, performers and speakers, exhibiting some of his most daring illusions and escapes. Over 10 years ago, the illusionist started showcasing his talents at church outreach events.

These days, he travels throughout the United States, Mexico and Australia, wowing audiences with daredevil escapes while presenting the Gospel. Gill’s arsenal of tricks includes catching a bullet between his teeth, freeing himself from a straightjacket and escaping from a water-filled coffin. Be sure to catch the illusionist and his breath-taking performance as he rings in the New Year on Dec. 31.

Other Winterfest artists scheduled to perform on the Vines Center stage include Jeremy Camp, Hawk Nelson, Disciple, Skillet, Sanctus Real and a host of other great performers. Dynamic speakers such as Clayton King, David Nasser and the Rev. Eric Timm will also be in appearance.

Apart from seeing great performances, participants can also take advantage of everything LU has to offer, including basketball, ice skating and swimming.

Our all-inclusive event ticket — with bands, speakers and a free ice-skating session —  is on sale for $80 if you reserve your spot before Dec. 1. Individual session tickets start at $15. To come chill with us at Winterfest, visit www.libertywinterfest.com or call (800) 662-5848.
