Former Liberty quarterback grabs attention in NFL

Former Liberty football standout Mike Brown may not have grabbed the attention of most NFL teams before the draft in April, but the football program alum seems to have the watchful eye of one current team.

Shortly after going undrafted in April, Brown was given a mini camp weekend tryout with the Jacksonville Jaguars, a franchise Liberty currently has multiple ties with. He earned a free agent contract and an opportunity to remain with the team.

Since signing with the Jaguars, Brown has continued to impress the coaching staff, which has now led to those outside the franchise noticing this undrafted member of the squad, including NFL.com.
