Sarah Palin coming to Liberty this fall

Former Alaska governor and 2008 vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is coming to Liberty University in October.

Palin is scheduled to speak at the Extraordinary Women Conference, which will be Oct. 7 and 8 at the Vines Center.

“Liberty University is honored to welcome Governor Sarah Palin to our campus,” said Chancellor Jerry Falwell, Jr. “Palin is greatly admired by our Liberty University faculty, staff and students for her patriotism and her determination to stand up for what is right despite vicious and unrelenting attacks against her and her family.”

Meredith Andrews, a 2005 Liberty alumnus, is one of several entertainers scheduled to perform that weekend.
