‘Oh what fun’ Liberty has planned on campus this Christmas season

Sparkling golden lights illuminated a 40-foot Christmas tree in front of Liberty University’s DeMoss Hall on Monday as a mass of students congregated to ring in the holiday season. The annual Christmas in Lights celebration included hot cocoa, festive treats, and carols, led by School of Music students.

Liberty’s campus is now beaming with Christmas spirit as festive music plays from speakers and trees lining University Boulevard are decked in bright lights. A large nativity scene declares the Reason for the season from the lawn of the Hancock Welcome Center. Beautiful Christmas trees and decorations are also on display inside campus facilities, including the Welcome Center and the Jerry Falwell Library.

Christmas traditions abound at Liberty, and a number of events give students opportunities to celebrate the holidays with their campus family and the local community before heading home for their Christmas break.
