Sounds of Liberty performs Memorial Day tribute on ‘Huckabee’

Liberty University’s Sounds of Liberty ministry team performed on FOX News’ “Huckabee” on Sunday as part of a special Memorial Day episode paying tribute to our nation’s heroes. The group closed out the show and the performance can be viewed on the FOX News website.

Scott Bullman, director of ministry teams at Liberty, said taping the show and spending time with Gov. Mike Huckabee was an “amazing experience … one the students will never forget.”

The group traveled to FOX News’ studio in New York City last week to tape the event. Representing Liberty on the show were the group’s five vocalists: Daniel Ethridge, Tori Miller, Melissa Jean, Aimee Hammerly, and Raleigh de los Reyes, as well as band members Forrest Knight, Mark LaMontagne, Patrick Marshall, Austin Addams, Melodie Castelanos, and Christian Hodge, and audio technician Kevin Williams. As Liberty’s flagship traveling ministry team, Sounds of Liberty leads groups in worship at various locations to share Christ’s message. The group performs nearly 100 concerts annually, ministering at some of America’s largest churches and organizational events. They have performed at a GOP pre-debate party and at rallies and conferences in Washington, D.C.

Liberty University’s Department of Ministry Teams sends students with both musical and athletic gifts across the state and across the country to take the Gospel message to audiences of all ages.
