Cal Thomas to speak at Monday Convocation

Cal Thomas, one of America’s most widely syndicated op-ed columnists, will return to Liberty University to speak at convocation on Monday, Feb. 6.
Thomas has had a career in broadcast and print journalism for more than 40 years. He has appeared in more than 500 national newspapers, authored more than 10 books and has been a political contributor to Fox News. He has appeared on NBC News in Washington, D.C, and CBNC. He is currently a regular contributor on the Fox News Channel and a writer for USA Today.
From 1980 to 1985, Thomas was vice president of the Moral Majority, a conservative political lobbying group organized by Liberty’s founder, Dr. Jerry Falwell.
In his last visit to Liberty in April 2011, Thomas participated in a debate with Bob Beckel, a liberal democrat who co-authored “Common Ground: How to Stop the Partisan War That is Destroying America” with Thomas.
