With an M.A.T. in Elementary Education and an Ed.S. in School Curriculum and Instructional Planning from Liberty, you can do just that. At Liberty, we want to partner with you as you earn top-notch credentials so that you can be prepared to succeed in a variety of educational environments.

By earning your dual degree from Liberty, you can gain a wide variety of skills in less time than if you pursued each degree separately. Throughout your M.A.T. to Ed.S. program, you will take courses that emphasize the needed skills and competencies of teaching in the classroom and leading with excellence. Additionally, our program is designed so that upon completion, you will have met the requirements for your initial teaching license. You will also study topics related to school administration and explore the effectiveness of different curricula.

Upon successful completion of Liberty University’s Virginia state-approved M.A.T. to Ed.S. program, you may apply for your teaching license in another state through reciprocity, which may or may not result in additional requirements based on your state’s Department of Education regulations.
