Through this foreign language education program, you will gain special training in foreign language acquisition, education, and leadership skills. Your courses will focus on the skills needed to teach a foreign language to students. If you are already working in the field and looking to expand your knowledge, then this degree is for you.

Liberty University’s M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction – Foreign Language Education is not designed to teach you a new language. Instead, your courses will focus on the skills associated with teaching a foreign language. If you are already working in the field, then you can benefit from the advanced knowledge and research available in this degree.

Currently, we use 500-level Spanish courses as part of the program. If you are teaching a language other than Spanish, the School of Education may be able to work with you to find a suitable substitute.
