Offerings include K-12 teacher edition textbooks and teaching materials for pre-school through grade twelve, standardized tests, the children’s and young adult collections as well as the English as a Second Language (ESL) collection. Educational games, manipulatives, and models enhance the collection.
The Curriculum Library, in support of the School of Education, provides physical access to specialized materials in a unique area of the Library. Customers may check out materials with their own card for a designated period of time. Billing for overdue fines, damaged materials, and lost items are posted to students’ accounts. Faculty, staff and community users may pay charges in person.
The Curriculum Librarian oversees the collection development, cataloging, research assistance, and staffing of the Curriculum Library. Procedures are based upon those used within the rest of the library with modifications to cataloging as needed to best meet the unique needs of the Curriculum Library clientele.
Fines and suspension of privileges may be incurred by customers who have overdue, lost, or damaged materials. Customers who fail to adhere to the library’s Code of Conduct Policy may be banned from using the Curriculum Library.
