Liberty University will serve as a satellite location for the annual Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday, March 1, in the Vines Center. Liberty’s portion will follow a military theme and honor veterans and active service members. Special guests will include WWII veteran Edgar Harrell (one of the few remaining survivors of the USS Indianapolis) and actor Gary “Lt. Dan” Sinise, who will lead a discussion of his recently published memoirs and a charge to support those who defend our freedoms.

Liberty will have 2,500 pre-autographed copies of Sinise’s book available at a discounted price.

CPAC is hosted by the American Conservative Union and runs for a week at the end of February in Washington, D.C.
The conference will welcome additional guests to Liberty’s stage throughout the day to present on a wide range of mostly nonpartisan topics.

Gov. Matt Bevin

Also included in the lineup of a dozen speakers will be Donald Trump Jr. and Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin. Starting at 10:30 a.m. EST, the university will broadcast a livestream of Trump Jr.’s message to the main conference stage in the nation’s capital.
All sessions are free and open to the public. Text CPAC to 839-858 to register.
