Completion of a graduate degree program in the School of Education implies thorough knowledge of the content, mastery of skill, and demonstration of the dispositions essential to success in the area of choice.

The maximum transfer hours allowed is 6 hours for the M.Ed. and Ed.S. and 9 hours for the Ed.D.

Coursework may be completed in a combination of online and residential formats (one-week, two-week, and weekend). Candidates are required to complete a minimum of 9 hours in residence for the Ed.D. and for licensure programs (M.A.T. and M.Ed.).  Residence is not required for the Ed.S. or the non-licensure M.Ed. in Teaching & Learning.
