Overnight Opportunities

Students are invited to visit overnight during College For A Weekend! Twice each semester, CFAW lets you experience life at Liberty firsthand and decide if it is right for you. You will attend classes, interact and stay on a residence hall with current students, and explore Liberty's academic, athletic, and recreational facilities.

Unable to attend one of our four annual “College For A Weekend” events? We offer two other options for an overnight visit on Liberty’s residence halls during our Fall and Spring semesters:

Visit with a sibling or friend?

  • For prospective students with a friend or relative, of the same sex, currently residing in our residence halls, please have the current Liberty University student contact his/her Resident Assistant (RA) to advise of your upcoming visit. This must be completed 48 hours prior to your visit. Once approved by the RA, you may spend up to two nights in the residence hall. Please contact the Visitors Center to schedule a campus tour during your visit!

Or let us coordinate your visit?

  • For prospective students who are current seniors in high school or college transfers (between ages 16 and 24), please contact the Visitors Center at 434-582-2064 or submit an Overnight Visit Request Form to the Visitors Center to schedule your overnight visit.
  • All overnight requests must be received at least 10 days prior to your visit and are available Monday thru Thursday nights only.
  • Overnight visitors will be housed with student leaders (of the same sex) on the residence halls and are required to participate in a campus tour provided by the Visitors Center. Schedule your tour!
  • Overnight visits are available during the following windows of opportunity
    • Fall Semester: September 1 through the start of Liberty's Thanksgiving Break (University Calendar)
    • Spring Semester: February 1 through April 30

*Overnight visits are not available during official University breaks and holidays. We are also unable to permit overnight visits during the week of final exams.  Please see the University Calendar for breaks and holidays or contact the Visitors Center with any questions.
