The Interior Design Association of Liberty University provides ways to strengthen and grow students’ interior design abilities and knowledge by providing them with valuable education, resources, programs, and services to aid them in their path to professionalism in residential and commercial design. It offers an excellent foundation for networking and pre-professional interactions, as well as acts as a resource for information on joining other national groups. Along with education, the IDA strives to give students the opportunity to reach out with loving hearts and hands by using our unique talents for the purpose of expanding the kingdom of God.
The Interior Design Association meets once a month with various other activities spread throughout the semester including our community service projects. In addition, the IDA offers a few open lab nights to gather design students during intense project periods to encourage each other through difficult nights with food, and love. Through active participation, students will gain excellent practice in networking, valuable knowledge from professionals, and an enriching and enjoyable experience giving back to the community.
We have successfully helped raise money for Habitat for Humanity to build a home for a beautiful families. In addition, we have created a unique community of students for the purpose of encouraging and supporting each other toward a God honoring career.
