The purpose of Liberty for Orphans is to provide an avenue for Liberty University students to serve orphans and adopted children by supporting those who are caring for them. The primary goal of Liberty for Orphans is to obey the Lord’s command in James 1:27 to look after orphans in their distress. The secondary goal is to advocate for orphans and to foster a heart of compassion and service in our community for orphans.
Liberty for Orphans holds meetings once a month. During meetings, club members learn more about the global orphan crisis and what we, as students, can do to make a difference. Additionally, Liberty for Orphans hosts club activities and facilitates community service opportunities.
