Ways to Search in LUCAS

There are several options for searching LUCAS:

Type of Search What It Does
Keyword Anywhere Searches for items by title, author, subject heading, call number, etc.
Title Searches the title field for your word or phrase.
Start of Title Searches for the first word or words of the title field.

Subject

Searches the Library of Congress Subject Headings fields

Author

Searches the author field; enter the last name, then the first name
Call Numbers Searches the call number field for the unique alphanumeric code that identifies an item
