STEM 201 - Industrial Energy II


This course is available both online and residentially.

This course focuses on the processes and equipment used in the generation of electrical power. Topics include combined cycle powerplant fundamentals, heat recovery steam generators, plant water and steam systems, steam and gas turbines, electrical power generation. Basic math and science foundations are covered as well. These include elemental math; physics topics such as momentum, gravity, energy, motion, electricity and magnetism, heat, and thermodynamics; and chemistry fundamentals.

Prerequisites:
STEM 101
