ASLI 320 - Sociocultural Linguistic Processing

This course will examine the language exchange between ASL and English in terms of discourse (accurate content, appropriate context, and appropriate linguistic form). Techniques and metnal/cognitive processes such as comprehension, memory, delayed, repetition and pattern inference will be addressed as well as discourse mapping.
