Biography

Dr. Bonser serves as Associate Professor/Co-Clinical Education Coordinator for the Athletic Training Program at Liberty University. He began his clinical career in 2010 as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for NCAA Division I football at UNC Chapel Hill, and provided patient care across NCAA Divisions I, II & III collegiate settings for a total of seven years. He has been teaching Athletic Training in Christian Higher Education institutions since 2012.

Accomplishments

  • Member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers’ Association, Virginia Athletic Trainers’ Association
  • Author/Co-Author of 4 peer-reviewed manuscripts
  • Chief Lab Instructor for a National Athletic Training Symposium presentation (2016)
  • Presented/co-presented professionally at local, regional and national Athletic Training Symposiums
  • Volunteer Journal Reviewer for the Journal of Sport Rehabilitation and International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy
  • Certified in Graston® Technique & Total Motion Release
  • UNC Chapel Hill Exercise and Sports Science – Excellence in Teaching Award (2012)
  • Graduated Summa Cum Laude (2010)
