Biography

William Waddell serves as an assistant professor of government at Liberty University and is the program director for intelligence. He began his career as a Naval Aviator specializing in anti-submarine warfare with a focus on military operations and planning. He has since worked as faculty member and director of Cyberspace Operations at the US Army War College and adjunct professor of Cyber Warfare at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. After 40 years of government service, Waddell transitioned into teaching government and intelligence education and national security at Liberty. Today, Waddell thrives in developing Liberty students in intelligence disciplines and personal character, developing programs that provide students with real-world opportunities, and meeting the academic challenges of the expanding areas of intelligence and national security.
