East Campus Volleyball Facility
During the spring of 2007, the Liberty volleyball program was given a secondary practice facility as part of a new, on-campus training complex.
The existing $750,000 facility on East Campus houses the volleyball coaches’ offices and a team room, and serves as the team’s exclusive practice facility whenever the Vines Center and Schilling Center are unavailable.
“We are excited about the direction of Liberty Volleyball,” stated head volleyball coach Shane Pinder. “It is amazing to see God’s hand moving in all areas of our program. The most recent miracle is the addition of new office spaces, which includes a team room with a practice gymnasium attached.
“This facility allows us a better opportunity to recruit, as well as more opportunities to train the team throughout the season. The new volleyball complex takes another step toward Dr. Falwell’s dream and vision of building a world-class University and athletics program.”
