LibertyFlames.com brings you matside coverage today from the Southern Scuffle, taking place at the Special Events Center of the Greensboro Coliseum. In its eighth year, the event hosted by UNC Greensboro has become one of the premier regular-season tournaments in collegiate wrestling.
Day one of the two-day event is scheduled to begin around 10 a.m. with the 64-man championship. Action will continue through the day with grapplers competing on 10 mats, while the day will wind down with the third round of wrestle-backs at approximately 6 p.m.
In Liberty's last two appearances in Greensboro, the Flames have come away with a 16th place finish out of 31 teams.
