Liberty women’s soccer and head coach Lang Wedemeyer have announced the signing of Khyla Porter, a transfer from Kent State.
“We are super excited to welcome Khyla to our soccer family,” Wedemeyer said. “Her playing experience combined with her speed and attacking skills will make her a great compliment to our roster.”
In her four seasons at Kent State, Porter tallied seven goals and an assist for 15 career points. Porter brings a wealth of experience to the Lady Flames, playing in 66 career games and started in 45 games throughout her time at Kent State. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Porter attended Mount Notre Dame where she was an All-Southwest Ohio and Second Team All-Star during and recorded 20 goals and 11 assists for 51 points.
Porter is the second transfer that Wedemeyer has added to its roster this summer, as Saydie Holland joins Liberty’s squad after playing three seasons at Ole Miss.
