The Starting 5 - Liberty's Top Storylines
• Riding an 11-game winning streak, ASUN leader Liberty (12-3, 8-0 ASUN) will take to the road Saturday and Sunday for a two-game series at third-place North Florida (8-7, 6-2 ASUN).

• Liberty is 3-2 all-time versus North Florida but 0-2 at UNF Arena, with both losses coming by double digits. The home team has won all five previous contests in the head-to-head series.

• Liberty has won 11 straight contests overall (all by double digits), 14 consecutive ASUN Conference tilts and 16 straight meetings with ASUN foes.

• Liberty's leading scorer Emily Lytle (14.1 ppg) enters the weekend 31 points shy of 1,000 for her career. She also needs four triples to become the sixth Lady Flame ever to make 150 career three-pointers. Lytle has hit 15 triples in five career meetings with the Ospreys

• Ashtyn Baker is also on the cusp of the 1,000-point milestone, beginning the weekend with 979 career points. The senior guard is averaging a career-high 12.9 ppg this season, aided by a 42.2 percent clip from beyond the arc. She scored 26 points in her last meeting with UNF (Feb. 24, 2020).

Notes and Anecdotes - Liberty vs. North Florida
• Liberty will try to become the first visiting team to win a game in the head-to-head series with North Florida. The home team has won all five previous matchups by double digits.

• The Lady Flames have won three straight road games since starting the season 0-3 away from Lynchburg and are seekign their first five-game road winning streak since Jan. 31-Feb. 28, 2015. However, Liberty is winless at the three ASUN facilities it has yet to visit this season (0-2 at UNF Arena, 0-1 at Bellarmine's Freedom Hall & 0-3 at FGCU's Alico Arena).

• Liberty is 3-6 when facing ASUN foes in Florida since joining the conference and 30-6 in ASUN matchups played anywhere else.

• Liberty (Makaela Kestner) and North Florida (reigning ASUN Player of the Week Jazz Bond) both feature a starter who began her career at South Florida. However, Kestner and Bond were not there at the same time.

• Liberty Associate Head Coach Alexis Sherard will serve as acting head coach this weekend as Carey Green continues to recover from surgery. The Lady Flames are 6-0 this season and 7-1 all-time when Sherard is the acting head coach.

• Second-year Liberty Athletic Trainer Laura Mancuso is a 2013 graduate of North Florida.

Race for 1,000
• Sixteen players have scored 1,000 career points during 46 seasons of Liberty women's basketball. That number could grow by two this weekend, as Ashtyn Baker is 21 points away from the milestone and Emily Lytle is 31 points shy of 1,000.

• Only once in program history have two Lady Flames scored their 1,000th point during the same season. Twin sisters Sharon and Sarah Wilkerson each joined the 1,000-point club during the 1998-99 campaign.

• Keyen Green was the last Lady Flame to score her 1,000 point. She reached the milestone during a Jan. 11, 2020 victory over Jacksonville at the Vines Center. The last Lady Flame to score her 1,000th point away from Lynchburg was Devon Brown, on Dec. 7, 2011 at Virginia.
