Liberty’s Top Storylines
• Liberty (12-7, 6-2 ASUN) will face an ASUN-leading opponent for the third game in a row on Saturday, when the Lady Flames visit co-leader Lipscomb (13-7, 7-1 ASUN) for the first time since Feb. 29, 2020.
• The Lady Flames' last two games have seen them record their first-ever win over FGCU and become the first visiting ASUN team to defeat Austin Peay on its home court.
• Riding a season-best four-game winning streak, Liberty is 8-0 all-time against Lipscomb, including 2-0 at Allen Arena.
• Mya Berkman leads the Lady Flames in points (14.5 ppg) and rebounds (7.3 rpg) while ranking No. 1 nationally for field goal percentage (71.9). She has scored in double figures in a career-best 10 straight contests and is averaging 15.7 ppg on 82.6 percent field goal shooting during her last three meetings with Lipscomb.
• Point guard Kennedi Williams has dished out 5+ assists in nine of the last 10 contests. She hit the game-winning layup with 57 seconds left at Austin Peay on Thursday after tallying a career-high 24 points during last Saturday's matchup with FGCU.
Notes and Anecdotes – Liberty vs. Lipscomb
• Liberty will face an opponent sitting atop the ASUN standings for the third consecutive game, as Lipscomb currently shares the conference lead with FGCU.
• The Lady Flames are riding their longest winning streak of the season (four games), matching the Bisons' current winning streak.
• Liberty's 8-0 record against Lipscomb is its second-best mark against a current ASUN squad. The Lady Flames are 9-0 all-time versus Kennesaw State.
• The Lady Flames have only visited Allen Arena twice and not since Feb. 29, 2020. Mya Berkman, Audrey Clark and Kennedi Williams are the only current Lady Flames who have ever played at the facility.
• Liberty has played in Nashville since its last contest at Lipscomb. The Lady Flames closed out their 2021-22 campaign with a WNIT second round loss at Vanderbilt on March 21, 2022.
• Although she hails from Canada, Liberty's Emily Howard graduated from high school in Tennessee (Harding Academy in Memphis).
• At 7-1, Lipscomb has tied its best-ever ASUN start. The Bisons also opened conference play 7-1 in 2004-05.
Coming Up Big vs. the Bisons
• Mya Berkman has been quite effective and efficient against Lipscomb during the last two seasons (2020-21 and 2021-22). She is averaging 15.7 ppg in three wins over the Bisons while shooting 82.6 percent (19-of-23) from the field in those contests.
• Dee Brown is averaging 9.3 ppg and 6.7 rpg in three career matchups with Lipscomb. Her first career double-digit scoring output at Liberty (13 points) came during an 88-59 home win over the Bisons on Jan. 2, 2021. She then pulled down 10 rebounds against Lipscomb last year (Feb. 9, 2022).

• Liberty is 60-22 against ASUN Conference opponents since joining the league prior to the 2018-19 season, including 24-15 on the road.
• The Lady Flames are 23-13 in ASUN Conference games on the road (including 2-2 this season) and 1-2 in road contests in the ASUN Championship.
• Liberty is 7-13 when facing ASUN Conference opponents in Florida (including 1-2 this season) and 53-9 when matching up with ASUN foes in any other state (including 5-0 this season).
