The Starting 5 - Liberty's Top Storylines
• Liberty (12-5, 8-2 ASUN) will take to the road for the second straight weekend, heading to ASUN newcomer Bellarmine (4-11, 4-6 ASUN) for its first-ever meetings with the Knights, Saturday and Sunday.

• Liberty is looking to bounce back after losing its first two ASUN games of the year, last weekend at North Florida. Bellarmine is 4-1 in its last five outings after opening its Division I tenure at 0-10.

• This weekend's matchups will be the first ASUN Conference meetings between Liberty and Bellarmine in any sport.

• Liberty's leading scorer Emily Lytle (14.1 ppg) enters the weekend four points shy of 1,000 for her career. She also needs three triples to become the sixth Lady Flame ever to make 150 career three-pointers.

• Ashtyn Baker just became the 17th 1,000-point scorer in program history at North Florida on Feb. 7. The senior guard is averaging a career-best 12.8 ppg. She is shooting 39.5 percent from three-point range, which would set a new Liberty single-season record if she can keep it up.

Notes and Anecdotes - Liberty vs. Bellarmine
• Liberty will face Bellarmine for the first time this weekend. The Knights are in their first season as ASUN Conference members and their first season of transition from NCAA Division II to Division I.

• This weekend's games will be the first ASUN Conference matchups between Liberty and Bellarmine in any sport.

• The Lady Flames will try to get back on track against one of the ASUN's hottest teams. Bellarmine is 4-1 in its last five games after beginning the season at 0-10.

• Liberty will try to avoid its first three-game conference losing streak since the Lady Flames started out at 0-3 in their first year of ASUN Conference play in 2018-19.

• Liberty Head Coach Carey Green has been cleared to travel to Kentucky to coach this weekend's games. Due to a leg injury which required surgery, Green has not coached a road game since Dec. 16 at High Point.

• Green (488 wins) and Bellarmine Head Coach Chancellor Dugan (467 wins) are both approaching 500 career victories.

• Liberty is 3-3 all-time when playing in Kentucky. The Lady Flames will be playing a contest in Kentucky for the first time in eight years on Saturday.

Race for 1,000
• Sixteen players scored 1,000 career points during the first 45 seasons of Liberty women's basketball. That number grew on Feb. 7, when Ashtyn Baker became the Lady Flames' 17th 1,000-point scorer. Emily Lytle should become No. 18 this weekend, as she heads to Bellarmine with 996 career points.

• Only once in program history have two Lady Flames scored their 1,000th point during the same season. Twin sisters Sharon and Sarah Wilkerson each joined the 1,000-point club during the 1998-99 campaign.
