Versatile combo guard Brooke Moore has signed a national letter of intent to attend Liberty University for the 2023-24 academic year.

Moore rounds out the Lady Flames’ five-member fall signing class, which also features two other guards from the United States (Asia Boone and Ella Wigal) and a pair of Iceland natives (Elisabeth Aegisdottir and Emma Hjordisardottir).

Brooke Moore (G, 5-11, Kennesaw, Ga.)

Moore, a senior at North Cobb Christian School in Kennesaw, Ga., has earned both all-region and all-state honors following each of her first three high school seasons. She was ranked No. 10 overall in Georgia for the class of 2023 by Prep Girls Hoops.

A year ago, Moore led her team to its second straight appearance in the Georgia state playoffs, averaging 16.9 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 4.0 spg, 3.1 bpg and 1.9 apg. She scored her 1,000th career point during the regional title game and earned Co-Region Player of the Year honors for Class A Private.

As a freshman, Moore posted 18.0 ppg, 9.0 rpg, 4.0 spg, 2.0 bpg and 3.0 apg.

Moore was named to the all-tournament team at the 2022 Run for the Roses Tournament in Louisville, Ky., and selected to the 2022 AEBL All-Star Team.

Moore, who maintains a 4.2 GPA, is vice president of North Cobb Christian’s National Honor Society.

“I chose Liberty because it is a great program, and I am excited to be a part of what they’re building there,” stated Moore. “I’m grateful for this opportunity, and I’m ready to see what the future holds. Go Flames!”

What They’re Saying about Brooke Moore

“Brooke brings a high level of athleticism and versatility to the swing position. She has range to the three-point line while having the ability to explosively slash to the goal. Brooke is an exceptional defender who can guard 1-4 on the court. She is a high-character leader who will certainly shine in our team’s culture. I am excited to have her versatility and leadership as part of our program.”

Carey Green, Liberty Women’s Basketball Head Coach

“Brooke Moore is a coach’s dream come true. I was blessed to coach Brooke for two seasons and had a chance to watch her mature not only into an outstanding player but an outstanding leader to everyone around her! Liberty University is getting a great basketball player and also a great young Christian lady who will do great things!”

Gregg Matta, North Cobb Christian School Head of Basketball Operations

“Brooke is an extremely talented young player, who has not begun to tap into the potential she has. It will be a sight to behold as she continues to develop as a basketball player, and I truly believe this is the most exciting aspect of her game. Brooke is dynamic, with the ability to defend multiple positions as well as score in a multitude of ways. As good of a player as she is, she’s an even better young lady! She comes from an awesome family and her character and integrity reflects it daily. She will be a very valuable asset to Liberty for years to come!”

Al Wilson, North Cobb Christian School Girls’ Basketball Head Coach

“Brooke is a player with great dedication and a high ceiling. She has the potential to be the conference player of the year. Wishing Brooke nothing but success at Liberty.”

Jay Moore, FBC Bounce Nation AAU Coach
