UNC Asheville Edges Liberty

The UNC Asheville Bulldogs won four of the six singles matches to defeat the Liberty Flames, 4-3, Saturday in a Big South Conference men's tennis match at the E.C. Glass High School Tennis Courts.
Liberty claimed the doubles point by winning the #2 and #3 doubles matches for a 1-0 lead.
However, UNC Asheville secured the match victory by taking four singles contests. Jarda Trojan (So., Prague, Czech Republic) won the #2 singles match, while Sebastian Pena (Santiago, Chile) claimed a two-set victory in the #6 singles match for the Flames.
Liberty falls to 1-8 on the season and 0-4 in Big South play.
The Flames travel to Harrisonburg, Va. on Tuesday afternoon for a non-conference match with the James Madison Dukes. Match time is 2:30 p.m.
