Talented Center Shiery Signs with Lady Flames
Aiming to become the latest in a long line of talented post players at Liberty, 6-3 center Caroline Shiery has signed a national letter of intent to attend Liberty University for the 2022-23 academic year.
Caroline Shiery (C, 6-3, Harrisburg, Pa.)
Shiery is preparing for her senior season at Central Dauphin High School after earning second team all-state accolades as a junior. She averaged 18.0 ppg, 9.2 rpg and 2.6 bpg a season ago for the Rams, garnering first team Mid-Penn Conference Commonwealth Division recognition for the second year in a row.
As a sophomore, Shiery posted 9.9 ppg and 8.1 rpg, helping Central Dauphin go 26-2, claim a Mid-Penn Conference title and advance to the Pennsylvania 6A state tournament.
“I am beyond blessed and excited to sign with Liberty,” Shiery exclaimed. “It truly is a dream come true and an answer to prayers. When I stepped onto campus for the first time, I knew that Liberty was a special place and I cannot wait to be a Flame!”
