Liberty freshman Olivia Robinson became the first diver in program history to qualify for a Zone final, finishing 15th in platform diving on Wednesday at the U.S. Naval Academy's Lejeune Hall.

During this week's three-day meet, the top 18 from morning prelims each day qualified for evening finals. The top five combined scores from prelims and finals in platform diving qualified for the NCAA Division I Women's Swimming & Diving Championships.

Notable
• Robinson finished 14th in morning qualifying with 191.50 points, one of 18 divers to qualify for tonight's final. She then scored 196.90 for her five dives in the evening, and her combined score of 388.40 was good for 15th overall.

• Zone A includes schools from Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Maine.

• A total of 24 divers competed in the women's one-meter springboard this afternoon.

• Robinson competed on all three boards this week in Annapolis, while classmates Lauren Chennault and Abigail Egolf-Jensen competed on both the one-meter and three-meter springboards.
