Turning Point
Jacksonville scored the game's first six goals in less than five minutes to take command from the onset. Liberty responded with a run of its own, outscoring the Dolphins 8-2 over the next 19:12 to get within three (11-8).

During that stretch, Bryan scored two of her three goals, including her record-breaking 14th free position goal (23:41 mark) and her 40th goal of the season on a free-position shot at the 20:45 mark. Bryan weaved through traffic and fired a shot into the lower left corner to become the seventh player in school history with 40 goals in a single year. Bryan later added her 41st goal in the second half, moving into a tie for second place for most goals in a single season in school history. The Lady Flames' 8-2 run was capped off by freshman midfielder Olivia Glaze's third goal of the day at the 6:10 mark, trimming the JU lead to 11-8. The Dolphins led 12-8 at the half.

Leading 14-10 early in the second frame, Jacksonville scored eight of the contest's last nine goals to secure the victory.
