Morris and Smith Named to 2021 ASUN Spring Men's Soccer All-Academic Team

Liberty's Musa Morris and Malik Smith have been named to the 2021 ASUN Spring Men's Soccer All-Academic team, the ASUN Conference announced this afternoon.
Both Morris and Smith were selected to the team for the first time in their careers.
Morris, a forward, led the ASUN Conference with 12 points and tied for the conference lead with five goals. He also led the ASUN with three game-winning goals.
The senior from Lagos, Nigeria, started all 12 games for the Flames and averaged 74.9 minutes per game. Along with leading the Flames in goals and points, he also had a team-high 18 shots.
In the classroom, Morris has posted a 3.75 GPA and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration. Currently, he is working on a master's degree in Human Services: Life Coaching which he will complete this spring.
Meanwhile, Smith started all 12 games at center defender for the Flames this season and was part of a defensive unit that recorded eight shutouts to lead the country. He was one of three Flames to play over 1,110 minutes this season.
Smith has posted a 3.77 GPA in the classroom and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration. Currently, he is working on a master's degree in sport administration.
The ASUN Conference will announce the rest of the 2021 Spring Men's Soccer honors and awards, tomorrow.
