Mitrevski Scores Twice, as Liberty Closes Season with 2-2 tie at Queens
Midfielder Marko Mitrevski scored both Liberty goals as the Flames tied the Queens Royals 2-2 in an ASUN match and the final game of the season for both teams, Tuesday evening at the Queens Sports Complex.
In his final game in a Liberty uniform, Mitrevski netted his fourth and fifth goals in the match. The seniors’ second goal of the game tied the contest in the final minute of play.
Liberty finishes the season with a 3-6-6 overall record and a 1-4-3 ASUN mark. Queens ends its first season in the ASUN with a 4-10-2 overall mark and a 1-5-2 record in conference.

Turning Point
A Royals defender fouled a Flame in the midfield, resulting in a free kick for Liberty in the final minute and the Flames trailing 2-1. Taking the free kick from 50 yards out, Mitrevski scored to tie the match at 2-2 with 52 seconds left.
