Men’s Basketball Announces Camp Dates
Liberty men’s basketball has announced its summer camp dates. The Flames will host Day Camps, an Elite Camp, and a Team Camp throughout the month of June. All of the camps will be held on Liberty’s campus and are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age and grade level.
The Day Camps will host boys and girls kindergarten through seventh grade. The goal of this camp to teach the fundamentals of dribbling, shooting, passing, and teamwork. Options to be a half-day camper or a full-day camper depending on age will be provided. All campers will receive a Nike camp T-shirt.
Team Camp will be June 10-12 and coaches can save a spot for their team by emailing cmangino@liberty.edu. Camp is open to 8th grade, JV, and Varsity teams. Teams will compete in five games in a pool play format and a tournament. Housing and meals will be provided, as the campers will stay in Liberty air-conditioned dorms. This camp is run in conjunction with a referee clinic, so Division I College Officials will be refereeing the games.
Liberty’s Elite Camp is designed for players that have aspirations to play college basketball. Campers will receive individual instruction from Liberty coaches and camp staff. Camp sessions will include skill development along with the opportunity to compete in five-on-five games against other campers. The camp is open to boys currently entering 8th grade through college.
