    Liberty’s Top Storylines
    •
This is the first meeting between the two schools.
    • Darius McGhee knocked down a program single-game record nine threes and scored a season-best 36 points on Monday against Grambling. He played in his 144th career game in a Liberty uniform, a new school record.
    • McGhee has 424 career three-pointers and is one of two active Division I players with 400 or more threes. He is currently 14th all-time with 424 threes. He passed Stephen Curry (15th place all-time, 414 threes, 2007-09 at Davidson) with his five triples on Saturday vs. Bryant at the Hall of Fame Classic and was named MVP of that game.
    • McGhee is first in the nation in both three-point field goals per game (4.83) and total three-pointers made (58). He has a current streak of ten straight games with 20 or more points. The longest streak of 20+ games McGhee has in his career is 10 games, set last year in the final 10 contests as well as this year.
Head Coach Ritchie McKay and the Flames are 112-32 over the last five years for a .778 winning percentage.
    • McGhee was named ASUN Player of the Week on Monday for the seventh time in his career.
This is Liberty’s final non-conference game of the season and final game before Christmas
