    Liberty’s Top Storylines
    Liberty is 5-0 all-time against Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES). The Flames topped the Hawks 73-61 a season ago at Liberty Arena (Nov. 27, 2021).
    • This past Saturday night versus Delaware State, Darius McGhee became the fourth 2,000-point scorer in school history. McGhee’s three-pointer with 5:16 left in the opening half put him over the 2,000-point plateau. He is one of five active Division I players with 2,000+ points.
    • McGhee was named ASUN Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the sixth time in his career, Monday.
    • McGhee (21.1 ppg) has made 395 career three-pointers, which is the second most among active players in Division I.
    • Liberty has utilized the same starting lineup in each of its seven games this season.
    McKay and the Flames are 108-31 over the last five years (2018-19 through first seven games of this year) for a .777 winning percentage.
    • The Flames are looking for their 30th all-time win at Liberty Arena. Liberty is 29-4 in the facility since it opened at the beginning of the 2020-21 campaign. The Flames are 3-1 at Liberty Arena this season.
