    Liberty’s Top Storylines
    This is the 13th meeting between the two schools. Liberty owns a 7-5 edge in the all-time series and a 7-3 advantage since joining the ASUN.
    Liberty ranks first in the country in three-pointers per game (12.3). The Flames are also third nationally in assist/turnover ratio (1.65), seventh in three-point percentage (40.6) and ninth in assists per game (18.8).
    The Flames are 51-11 in ASUN regular season play in four years in the league, an .820 winning percentage.
    Darius McGhee is first in the nation in three-point field goals per game (5.00) and total three-pointers made (70).
    McGhee was named ASUN Player of the Week for the second straight week, ASUN-leading third time this season and eighth time in his career.
    McGhee has 436 career three-pointers and is one of two active Division I players with 400 or more threes. He is currently eighth all-time with those 436 threes.
    Liberty won the 2019, 2020 and 2021 ASUN titles. The Flames have three conference regular season titles in four years and one division title (ASUN East Division, 2022).
    Liberty and Lipscomb last met in the 2022 ASUN Men’s Basketball Championship quarterfinal round at Liberty Arena on March 3, 2022. The Flames prevailed in a low-scoring contest, 52-47. Darius McGhee paced Liberty with 26 points, and Keegan McDowell added 10 points. The Flames swept the season series 2-0 versus the Bisons, also winning 78-69 in the regular season at Liberty Arena (Feb. 8, 2022).
    Liberty is 4-0 all-time in ASUN home openers.
