ASUN All-Conference Honors

Liberty women’s soccer had four players earn ASUN Postseason honors. Madison Ellis was named to the ASUN First Team All-Conference and in addition, Kasey Jamieson, Maddy Oliver and Randi Palacios were named to the ASUN Second Team All-Conference. Liberty has now had a player named to the ASUN First Team All-Conference squad for a third straight season.

Ellis earns her second career all-conference honor, as she was named to the ASUN All-Freshman Team in 2018. The redshirt junior was exceptional leading Liberty’s backline this season, posting a 0.80 goals against average that ranked No. 58 in the country. As a centerback, Ellis recorded four points this season with one goal and two assists.

Jamieson picks up another postseason honor as Jamieson was named the ASUN Women's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the second straight season. Jamieson has had an exceptional senior campaign, where she is tied for the team lead and ranks fourth in the ASUN Conference in points (18). Jamieson is also tied for the team lead in assists this season, recording four. Always a threat to score, Jamieson has attempted a team-high 42 shots this season.

Oliver proved to be one of the most lethal scorers in the ASUN Conference this season, recording 18 points this season with eight goals and two assists. Oliver’s eight goals ranked No. 4 in the ASUN and were tied for No. 77 in the nation this season. Always a threat in front of goal, Oliver scored three game-winning goals this season, tied for No. 4 in the ASUN Conference.

After transferring from UConn, Palacios has been outstanding in goal for the Lady Flames, posting a 0.85 goals against average, which ranks No. 77 in the nation. The senior from Ashburn, Va. recorded eight shutouts this season, which ranks second in the ASUN Conference.
