Liberty Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Lance Bingham has announced nine signees to the Liberty track & field/cross country program. Three of the signees (Ezra Kogei, Sofia Mojica and Luize Velmere) will join the Flames’ roster in January 2021.

“I am thankful for this year’s signees,” stated Bingham. “Many of them have national-level potential, but most importantly have a desire to serve the Lord through their events and to represent Him at the highest level. As we continue in our quest to develop a national-level team and to impact lives for the Kingdom of God, the individuals we sign this year will have a big part in this mission.”

Six of the signees are either mid-distance or distance runners. Meanwhile, two of the future Flames are younger siblings of current Liberty track & field student-athletes. Mojica is the younger sister of Naomi Mojica, while Patasha Bryan is the younger sister of Anthony Bryan.
