    Lady Flames News and Notes
    • Liberty will honor seven seniors on Saturday – Maggie Anderson, Brooke Bryan, Alexa Evernham, Hannah Quast, Leah Ruby, Jennifer Soriero and Leah Ruby. Additionally, the program will recognize team manager Mitch Brown and team videographer Dan Flittner.
    • Liberty’s senior class has totaled a combined 341 games (216 starts), 261 goals, 105 assists, 366 points, 451 ground balls, 258 caused turnovers and 168 draw controls during their careers.
    • The Lady Flames are in search of their first win against Jacksonville. The Dolphins hold an 8-0 edge in the all-time series. The two teams last met in the 2021 ASUN Championship title game, with JU prevailing 13-8 for its fourth straight ASUN crown.
    • This is the first time since joining the ASUN that the Lady Flames will host the Dolphins. In 2019, Liberty played Jacksonville on the road and in the ASUN final at Coastal Carolina. In 2021, the Lady Flames faced the Dolphins in a road contest as well as at Kennesaw State in the ASUN title game.
    • Liberty ranks second in the nation in caused turnovers per game (12.93) and fifth in ground balls per game (20.60). Defender Alexa Evernham leads the ASUN and ranks 14th in the country in caused turnovers per game (1.87). Midfielder Mia Toscano is No. 22 nationally in ground balls per game (2.71) and leads the league in the category.
    • This is the fourth top-25 foe Liberty will face this season. The Lady Flames also played against No. 12 Florida (14-6 loss, March 9), No. 7 Duke (8-7 loss, March 29) and No. 11 James Madison (22-3 loss, April 13). Liberty also squared off with Richmond (currently No. 19) and Virginia Tech (receiving votes), this spring.
    • Liberty is averaging 20.67 goals per game in ASUN competition. Sophomore midfielder Mackenzie Lehman leads the squad in goals (12), points (15) and draw controls (22) in those games. Lehman is also the team leader in goals (35) and points (46) and is second in draw controls (54) and tied for second in assists (11).
    • A win over Jacksonville would be Liberty’s first ranked win in program history. Additionally, a victory would give the Lady Flames their fourth straight season of double digit wins (excluding shortened 2020 campaign).
