Liberty Places 33 on CCSA Academic Honor Roll
The academic honors continue to roll in for the Liberty swimming & diving team after another highly-successful season in the pool and in the classroom. The Lady Flames placed 33 athletes on the CCSA Academic Honor Roll.
In order to be named to the Academic Honor Roll, the student-athlete must be on the current squad list and earn a minimum 3.00 GPA on a 4.00 scale during the 2020-21 academic year.
A CCSA-leading nine Lady Flames registered a 4.0 GPA during this past academic year, giving Liberty the most 4.0 student-athletes of any CCSA program.
The CCSA announced its 2020-21 Academic Honor Roll with a total of 538 student-athletes being named to the list. Those student-athletes encompass the three sports (beach volleyball and men’s and women’s swimming & diving) sponsored by the conference. In order to be named to the Academic Honor Roll, the student-athlete must be on the current squad list and earn a minimum 3.00 GPA on a 4.00 scale during the 2020-21 academic year.
Earlier this summer, Liberty earned CSCAA Scholar All-America Team honors for the 20th semester in a row after posting a 3.71 team GPA.
Additionally, senior Payton Keiner was named a first team CSCAA Individual Scholar All-American, while senior Lindsey Cohee and junior Lauren Chennault received Individual Scholar All-American honorable mention.
