Thoughts from Head Coach Ritchie McKay
“I thought our defense was really sound. We made it hard for them on most occasions tonight, and I felt our guys were really connected. When you have two individual defenders like Shiloh (Robinson) and Joseph (Venzant), it gives you a great advantage. The way those two have stepped into that responsibility has been really fabulous for our team.”
Liberty will return home to Lynchburg for its first ASUN game at home, as the Flames host Kennesaw State on Saturday night at Liberty Arena. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+.
