• After a 9-2 victory at Duke to begin a five-game road trip, the Liberty Flames travel to Jacksonville, Fla., for an ASUN three-game series against the Jacksonville Dolphins, this weekend. The two teams will meet again in Lynchburg, May 6-8.

• The two teams have not met during the ASUN's regular season since 2019. Jacksonville took the series, 2-1. However, the Flames and Dolphins met twice during the 2021 ASUN Tournament. The Dolphins won both games, including the ASUN title game.

• Liberty started its five-game road swing by scoring six runs in the ninth inning for a 9-2 victory over Duke at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, Tuesday. With the win, the Flames move to 6-3 on the road this season.

• Liberty has started the year 2-1 on the road in ASUN play, this season. The Flames won the last two games of their three-game series at North Florida to open conference play, March 19-20.

• Liberty finished 2021 with a 16-12 record away from Lynchburg, winning eight of its last 12 games way from Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium.

• The Flames posted a 3-2 record in neutral site games during the year, defeating 2021 ACC Champion Duke twice at Lindsey Nelson Stadium during the NCAA Knoxville, Tennessee Regional.
