The Liberty Football Show with Head Coach Hugh Freeze, a weekly audio show spotlighting Liberty's football program, returns to the airways on Monday, September 6 from 6-7 p.m.
This week’s show will feature interviews with Flames Head Football Coach Hugh Freeze and Flames tight ends coach Ben Aigamaua. During the show, Freeze and Aigamaua will recap Liberty’s season-opening 48-7 win over Campbell, while previewing Liberty’s first road trip of the year to Troy, next Saturday.
For the safety of the Liberty Football coaches and administrators, the next two Liberty Football Shows will not broadcast live Lynchburg’s Iron & Ale restaurant (Aug. 30 and Sept. 6). A pre-taped show will air live at 6 p.m. Live broadcasts from Lynchburg’s Iron & Ale restaurant are scheduled to return later this season.
For the second year in a row, the Liberty Football Show will air live via audio stream on https://www.liberty.edu/flames/lfsn/radio-live/ and the Liberty Flames mobile app. The weekly show will also air on-demand on the Liberty Flames Podcast Channel on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Google Podcasts.
The Liberty Flames Football Show each week will be hosted by Alan York, the radio play-by-play broadcaster for football and men's basketball, and Nick Pierce, the Flames sideline reporter and baseball play-by-play broadcaster.
