    Liberty fell 14-6 to No. 12 Florida, Wednesday afternoon at the Liberty Lacrosse Field.

    Florida improves to 2-3 on the season. Liberty sees its record drop to 3-3, including a 2-2 home mark.

    Turning Point
    Florida led 8-4 at the half and outscored Liberty 3-0 in the third quarter to distance itself and take a 11-4 lead after three quarters. The Gators’ Maggi Hall scored twice during the third period, and Daniella Pavinelli scored one of her three goals on the day.

    The Gators outscored the Lady Flames 3-2 in the final quarter to bring the final score to 14-6.

    First Half Summary
    • Liberty’s Mackenzie Lehman scored the first goal of the day at the 12:02 mark of the first quarter, her 17th of the season. Florida closed the first quarter on a 5-1 run to lead 5-2 after one.
