• Parra Romero added to her season win total, collecting her team-best 11th singles victory of the fall. The freshman from Bucaramanga, Colombia improved to 11-2 on the season with a 6-1, 7-5 result over UT Arlington’s Momoka Horiguchi.

• Facing off against VCU’s Nina Sorkin, Lovato won in three sets, 6-7 (4), 6-1, 6-2 for her seventh fall triumph.

• A week after winning her first career collegiate singles match, Kirch claimed her second victory. The freshman from Garner, N.C. battled back to top the UTA Mavericks’ Nika Novikova 2-6, 7-5, 6-0.
