Lady Flames Remain Among Region's Top 10

After taking this past weekend off from competition, the Liberty women's (No. 9 in the Southeast Region) and men's (No. 13 in the Southeast Region) cross country teams maintained the same regional rankings for the second week in a row, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The Lady Flames own the highest regional ranking among three ASUN Conference teams which appear in this week's listing. In the South Region, the Lipscomb women's team sits at No. 10, while North Florida checks in at No. 13.
A trio of ASUN men's teams are regionally ranked as well. In addition to the Flames, Lipscomb is listed No. 5 in the South Region, where North Florida is No. 11.
Liberty's next meet will be the Pre-National Invitational, Oct. 19 at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Ind. The day's first race will begin at 11 a.m. at the course which will play host to the 2019 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships.
