    2021 PING All-Region team

The best season in program history has led the Flames to placing a program-record four players on the 2021 PING All-Region team.

Liberty's Ervin Chang, Alexandre Fuchs, Kieran Vincent and Jonathan Yaun were each named to the 2021 PING All-Region East team. The Golf Coaches Association of America recently released the six All-Region teams that included 153 Division I players.

This is the third time in his career Chang has been named to the PING All-Region team (2018 and 2019). No team was named in 2020 due to the cancellation of the spring season because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fuchs, Vincent and Yaun are all making their first career appearance on a PING All-Region team.

Four selections to this year's PING All-Region team is the most for the Flames in a single season in program history. Liberty had four players named the PING All-Region team in 2014.

Vincent finished the 2020-21 season with a 70.48 stroke average, setting a new school record (previous record: Jonathan Yaun – 70.78 set in 2019-20).

Vincent was ranked as high as No. 6 in the Golfstat individual national rankings (April 21 rankings), the highest individual ranking in program history. He is the program's first-ever player to be named to the Fred Haskins Award watch list (top collegiate golfer in the country).

Chang finished up his Liberty career having played in 143 career rounds, the third most by any player in program history (Isaiah Logue: 152 [2014-18]; Gabe Lench: 147 [2015-19]). He also finishes his career with a 72.55 stroke average, which ranks fifth best in program history.

Fuchs ended the season with a career-best 71.93 season stroke average. He claimed his second career individual medalist honor earlier this year (Seminole Intercollegiate), making him one of seven players in program history to win multiple Division I events during their careers.

Yaun ranked second on Liberty's roster with a 71.59 season stroke average, that included three top-10 finishes. He played 17-of-27 rounds at par or better during the 2021 Spring season (63.0 percent).

This group of four players helped the Flames during the best season in program history. Liberty was consistently ranked inside the top-25 Golfstat national rankings throughout the spring season, reaching a program best No. 13 ranking on April 14.

The Flames finished fifth or better in each of their events leading up to the 2021 NCAA Men's Golf National Championship. Liberty also captured its first-ever ASUN Championship and sixth conference title in program history (2011, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2021).

    The Flames made their 11th NCAA Regional appearance and their ninth at the last 10 Regional events (2003, 2006, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021).

Liberty made its third appearance in program history at the NCAA Men's Golf National Championship, finishing in 21st place earlier this week at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
