Flames Fall To Dukes

The Liberty Flames and the James Madison Dukes split the singles matches, but the Dukes claimed the doubles point for a 4-3 win, Tuesday afternoon.
James Madison took the doubles point by winning two of the three doubles contests for a 1-0 lead. Carlos Cardona (Sr., Bogota, Colombia) and Braen Aneiros were the lone doubles winners for the Flames, winning 8-4 in #3 doubles.
The two teams then split the six doubles matches, providing the Dukes with the team victory.
Liberty falls to 1-9 on the season and next faces Birmingham-Southern in a Big South Match Tuesday at the Randolph Macon Women's College Tennis Courts. The match begins at 2:30 p.m.
